Hi all,
just threw my acoustic into open c for a bit of a change, figured out id give it a go to see what it was like. Only issue is now that i've done it, i dont really know where to start short of playing the chords just by barring the frets and thats no fun.
So if anyone has any tips it'd be greatly appreciated./
Cheers

+1 on the slide... if you baring chords to make them sound the same as normal tuning then just go back to the normal tuning...

Slide is a good idea. Many people tune to open chords to make singing and playing at the same time easier during difficult performances. You could also figure out all the minors, sus, 7th, 9th, dim7, ect.. variations available to you. Figure out what scales are easy to play for solo work. Search for songs in open tuning. If I remember "just got paid" by zz top plays well in open E.
