I finally had the chance to play a 62 hot rod stratocaster at the Arlington guitar show....... I loved that fat neck!!!! so yesterday I pulled the trigger and bought one from AJ at sweetwater :lol: it arrives tomorrow :mrgreen:

when I change the strings I will take measurements with some calipers at every fret location and post them. this thing is enormous!!!!

I think I figured out a way to compare neck profiles but I am not sure if it will work yet. If it does work I should be able to do it at guitar center also :wink:

I agree. That is what the dealers are counting on! One vintage dealer around here buys stuff JUST for the shows. He never displays it in the shop!
