And everyone picks on the little kid.

Whatever he's done in the past, he's only a kid.

Come on you guys. This kid is obviously trying to fit in some place. The Dore was open and he came in. We all seem to agree that he is an obnoxious little kid, but no one is offering to step up and help him get it right. I think everyone is a little bit that way at that age. It would be very cool if one of you older kids would reach out to this guy, and try a little MENTORING rather than criticism. The guy needs a little guidence thats all. Something to remember is that rejection is a terrible thing, and it makes folks do things they wouldn't ordinarily do. You know what I mean. Don't be part of something thats not cool. :) My Apologises if I'm out of line. 8)

Well said Danny. I was certainly an obnoxious kid. No surprise there though, I'm an obnoxious adult too.

----Danny,

:? I already feel bad about it you don't have to make it worse
but instead of trying so hard to fit in online he should go out and mingle. the internet is a cruel place for young people  at least real people will talk about you when your not around so you don't have to be aware of it

----Danny,

Sorry, Danny, but several other regulars on this Forum have indeed gone out of their way to try to help this kid get over his lying, his exaggerating, his phony pictures and his "I was bored" frame of reference. He doesn't get it, he won't get it. He needs to go elsewhere. Even the other 13-year-olds seem to have gotten their fill of him. He's well past the point of other Forum members apologizing for his actions.

+100.

Didn't realize this kid was OneGuitarPlayer too. Dear god this has gotten out of hand.

I guess if you can't get rid of him, just ignore his posts...

Btw dude, that Goldtop isn't a '52. If you knew anything about LPs, you'd know the Tune-o-Matic wasn't standard on Goldtops until '56. Alot of Ppl modded their older Goldtops but that pic def isnt a modded guitar.

My point is that no one is perfect, you've had your moments of doubt too SK. As adults I think we should all just be a bit more responsible than to have a go at some kid. No matter how annoying they are.
You're doing ok, this other guy is being a bit of a naus'. So what, you're both kids and should enjoy the freedom to be whatever you want to be whilst your kids, as long as you're not hurting anyone.
I'm pretty sure that if I saw some adult picking on one of my kids to this degree there'd be a fair amount of spilled blood. As I'm sure any of the parents using these boards would do. So doing it anonymously over the internet because some kid is trampling on your holy guitar shrine website makes it right? No.
The fact that the kid can be a pain makes it right? No, all kids are a pain, even the good ones.

Give the kid a bit of room to grow up, if you don't want to read what he has to say then don't click the thread. But don't take the piss as an adult then not be in any position to take accountability when the kid ends up messed up cos no one will converse with him like an adult. And all he gets is rejection instead of someone to learn temperance from.
Now some of you may cry "oh but that's his parents job". I defy any of you to not have drawn influence from an adult outside of your family.

Hay Kid, don't get me wrong. I think we all Recognise you as an exceptional young man. You just keep going the way your are and you will undoubtedly make something out of yourself. Just dont ever allow yourself to become part of a problem. That seldom works out well.
