all we could do is fight against it until "the man" hears our voice... many of you know i love punk rock music mostly because of the anarchy and how we disrespect authority because they find themselves better than everybody just because they are the voice of millions... today we face authority as their voice ceases to be ours and as greed takes over most of them... and the world unites in protest so they once again hear our voices and speak for us instead of speaking for themselves... "the man" could solve it all if he wasn't so greedy...

i'll leave theses songs from a two good influences of mine for people to reflect upon towards the present situation the world faces... (it's funny cause none of them involve punk but folk music instead) ladies and gentlemen of the forum, i give you woody gunthrie and tom morello (the nightwatchman)

ralfcaetano, no offense but you're barking up the wrong tree here. Propaganda doesn't have anything to do with guitars or music. Peoples inability to adapt and change is their inability exclusively. Some one else's greed or lack there of similarly belongs to them. Without capitalism there would be no electric guitars, period.

you can save the world with your guitar one love song at a time it's just better, more fun, easier with a fender solid body electric guitar or electric bass guitar.

Don't worry about that stuff, just pull out the old fender guitar and amp and play a song for the one's who are doing the protest, Woodstock all over again , if i lived near New York I'd pull out the gear and go and jam right in the centre of it all.

"Greed" Probably the most frightening word in the American Language.
There are no doubt those of you on this forum who will speak out against what I'm about to say. But here goes anyway.
A prime example of whats going on in this Country is the Boeing Co. in Seattle, WA. Or they used to be in Seattle, now there all over. First they moved there Corporate HQ to Chicago because they were being taxed to death by the state of Washington. Then they moved there small component manufacturing to foreign Countries for low cost parts. Then a large section of manufacturing left Seattle and went to the Carolina's, Why? Not because of what you might think. This latest move was arguably in response to Ridiculously high wages demanded by Labor Unions. There are Boeing hourly employees earning in some cases 2 to 3 times what employees of other companies are earning, with the same skill level. It's "GREED" on both sides of the fence. Wake up America A"DOLARS" Worth of work is only worth a dollar. When the cost of doing business gets to be to great, the Manufacturers go elsewhere. And that means one thing. (JOBES DISAPEAR)
And when jobs disappear the economy dries up and we all starve. or at least our disposable income disappears and we have no money for Guitars :(
END OF COMENT/RANT
----Danny,

Big difference between capitalism and corporatism that goes beyond tipartism, which is what we are seeing now. Corporations ignoring social needs and has gone directly to dictating government policy. Making a complete sham of the lie we believe to be democracy.

Danny, you're completely right a dollar is a dollar and a quid is a quid. However inflation is dictated by the highest earners, not the lowest. It's they that seek increased profit margins and therefore escalate prices. The common man is just trying to keep up.

well put.
I think the damage is not reversible without a major crises. if you think the government is in debt add up all the debt the american public has  we import more than we export so its not going to change. a nation of consumers making china rich as hell  until america starts manufacturing more and selling junk instead of buying junk we will not recover I am afraid. I spend more time than should be necessary looking for made in USA :? it is getting ridiculous. but I really do not know anything about economics other than what we are doing now isn't working

CAPITALISM/CORPORATISM, It's all the same. It all boils down to the right of all Americans to come and go as we choose and spend our money where we will. Its in our best interest to have goods and services available where we live so we create advantages to keep them close to home. Lower taxes for Boeing they stay. Raise taxes they go away. It's as simple as that. :)

They are not the same thing Danny. You refer to the freedom of capitalism, you live under despotic corporatism. Business is dictating to government all over the world. Using the age old threat of "do as we say, or we go overseas".

It's just not fair that Warren Buffett's secretary pays more payroll taxes than he does!

maybe if taxes were based on a flat percentage it would help. but a higher percentage for corporations. it would just make the large company's cut payroll and raise prices though

What eats me up big time is that we have about 25,000 years or so of documented history. We have been here much longer than that, and in all that time this is the best we can do? You have to be kidding me. Sorry to be a downer, That just runs through my mind sometimes.

if you want a good example of why just go to Wal-Mart and observe the people. its comical and sad all at the same time. we are basically cattle for a small percentage of the people with power. history repeats itself.
