Most G&Ls don't have Floyd Rose trems...in fact, very few do. If you're referring to a specific model, which one are you talking about?

If you want floyd rose, definitely check out the invader models. the USA models can come in any color I believe they offer (check out their green metallic sparkle or greenburst if they still have it, its my personal favorite)

But I will say if you like more of a vintage tremelo like you would find on a strat, G&L's Tremelo system is fantastic.

G&L's are great instruments, developed by one of the best in the business.

i just got a pickup installed in a copy of a strat made by SX the guitar pickup i got in it was a Custom Shop 69 neck pickup. Look at my newest thread "FINALLY THE PICKUP IS INSTALLED" or something

I LOVE MY AFFINITY STRAT!

G&L guitars are excellent instruments. They are expensive and worth the money.
Unfortunately they do not have the wide range that Fender has available to suit
every budget. I would take a very close look at the Fender MIMs to get something
you really like and is affordable. You could even find someone to refinish such a guitar
if you have a custom paint job in mind.
