Getting ready to pack up the gear and head to the outskirts of the big city of Nashville to jam for awhile....I have a musical family with me and my son playing,a brother in law out on the road and a cousin rocking out in Atlanta.
I always think of my brother musicians out there who leave after the gig in the wee hours when the people of the night are out...with the law prowling the highways and byways.
I hope everyone who plays out tonight has a great gig and comes home safely!
Rock on!

I don't know about the rest of the country but around here, in the wee hours it's around Freezing. In these parts that usually equates to Black Ice on the highway. Until everyone gets used to the idea, we have a few unfortunate accidents. Good advice from Rebelsoul, Thanks for the reminder. Stay safe forum mates. 8)

With John Moses Browning by my side, dialing "M1911" is no problem.

I fear no punk, Reb.

Drive safely, bruthah!

Yep,one of JMB's equalizers goes everywhere with me also, but you already knew that didn't ya!
I made it home around 2:30,and the gig was in an outdoor section of a sports bar club,it's a great place to play, but the temp. was in the low 50's and it was cool for this old man and his arthritis, the cool night air plays with your tuning also and it was tricky...but lots of fun....now for a day of rest and to let my ears take a break.

That is something that's always got your back. I tend to rely more on Austrian support  G36 is some good backup against any trouble maker. When it comes to critters though I rely on mr wesson 500 :P he has a short nose but a really mean bark. so far he has only bitten hogs and the occasional watermelon. No bears yet

I prefer 2-liter soda bottles filled with colored water.

As Oddball from "Kelly's Heroes" would say, "It makes pretty pictures."

I tink he no unnerstan', Reb-san.

Definitely "numbah fawkeeng tien, gee-aye".

Field-stripping a .45 is child's play. I can still detail-strip a "Ma Deuce", re-assemble, head-space, and time it in under thirty mikes.

HOOAH!

JMB Hi power in .40 S&W is my traveling companion, but these days I tend to stay away from big cities and other high risk places.
