Man I love Craigs List. I had a miter saw I purchased to frame my basement. Finished my basement and had a miter saw sitting in the garage. Put it on craigs list this morning. It is now out of my garage in a new home and I got a pocket full of money! Think I am going to see if I can find me one of those new Fender Champ 600's. Life is good! 8)

First time experience! Cost nothing to advertise, and within 8 hours sold at the price I wanted. That is why we created the Internet! Oh also for this fine forum!

I sold fishing gear and a guitar on craigslist within an hour after posting them. I put all the money together and bought a new American Standard Strat.

You can find some great stuff. Just gotta keep looking. Sometimes you get an oddball sale but it's all fun.

Trouble for us guys in the country is the local Craig's list has a such a low population you can't sell squat. It works best in urban areas.

My wife sold many items from the house (recliners, tables etc.) and responses were quick and she made about $1,600 and I bought a American Deluxe Strat with $750 left over.
