Just found out Jeff Healy passed away @ age 41. :(

I didn't know he was ill. I just spent the better part of my weekend learning "See The Light". (Spooky)

R.I.P. Jeff. You are a great person who help inspire hope in a lot of people. You are a great ambassador for Canadian music and will be missed. My condolences to your family.

Take care Jeff,
Fantastic musician and person. As a tribute to him, I'm gonna play his songs at our gigs this Friday and Saturday.
He was a talented and all around great guy.

RIP Jeff.

Jeff will be missed. He was another oddity of the music world the way he played that strat on his lap and blind. I sometimes watch Roadhouse just to see him rockin' away.

I am very sorry to hear the news.

Under these very difficult times, I wish his surviving family peace under these
hurtful circumstances.

I am on the road in Fl (playing the Blues)...I will mention his passing tonight.

Jeff Healey, RIP.

Man he was young. But he sure did live. Good for him.

He went blind due to cancer, and so in some way or other he fought it almost his whole life.

He was quite talented as a musician, not just a guitarist.

My favorite memory of him is from his appearance years ago on a show called Night Music. One of those songs is on Youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBBCJ68mC4c
See the Light--with the Night Music house band and Dr John.

Very Cool.
That's how I'll remember him.
