I am a realist rather than an optimistic dreamer, but I need some Fender Forum Mojo to help my beloved Longhorns...the second half is about to start, can I please have every one raise the Hook 'Em sign (similar to the rock&roll horns finger sign)...

Go Texas, beat OU!

Actually, they need to teach the offense to quit turning the ball over.

Congratulations, Sooners...just wait til next year!

But did you notice all the OU players crying at the end of the game? Stoops said, "Boys, I know we won, but we still have to go back to Norman!" :P

For the record, the "rock & roll" horns that KISS popularized means devil/satan.

Don't shoot the messenger for posting a fact. Thanks.

Except when you're wearing burnt orange...then it means "Hook 'Em Horns!"

interestingly, in the early 70`s the devil horn sign was associated with P-Funk and was the password to the mothership according to Bootsy Collins and George Clinton. Hmm, perhaps thats actually not remotely interesting here. BUT it does show how little i know about sports AND quite what a boring day im having at work.

Norman High graduate here, Mike. Of course that was a long time ago and my family moved west right after I graduated. Coincidence? Nope.

Any OU win over Texas was a big thing when I lived there. It didn't happen often.

rabid OU fan here. if i could only see one game a year, it would be this one. unfortunately i skipped my annual trip to austin to watch the game with my dad who lives minutes from downtown. i did some side work instead for extra cash. i saw the 4th quarter and honestly felt bad for my friends who are rabid ut fans. why? because i know how i feel when you guys beat us up like that. i have nothing but respect for ut. no matter the rankings, this is always a huge game for both teams. the turnovers killed you guys.
next year can't get here soon enough. BOOMER.

Nice to know, thanks. We had Tulsa tickets for Fri night and tickets in Norman for Sat night. Two killer concerts.....

A killer concert in Norman... what a concept. We used to have to drive to Oklahoma City for entertainment.

Ah well, we could always amuse ourselves by playing in the quicksand in the South Canadian River...
