I can always do without Mr Mojo Risin's pretentious teenage poetry, but you gotta love the Doors. And when Jim is right on the edge they're perilously good. Shame he didn't always know where the edge actually was.

After the LA Woman album, the band could/should have come again, but we know how that story ended - Paris and no-one there got out alive..

When the Music's Over (live) is about as thrilling (very thrilling!) as edgy rock music gets, but Love Me Two Times will do, so thanks for the link.

Dark, hypnotic, compelling Rock n Roll - The Doors kill me every time. 8)

I grew up in the 80's and they were on high rotation in my room right though out.... Great band.....So catchy... When i go back now and listen to them the guitar is just so much thinner than i remember though..

Loved the Doors, especially back door man. The only problem was Morrison was so full of himself (or something else). Tbazz you got great taste, I always enjoy these posts, Thanks Buddy.

I always loved the Doors despite the fact that Jim Morrison's theatrics could be a bit over the top both on and off the stage-still I guess this is part of what drew me to them.
