 I am very angry with fender. I have been saving up to buy a new mustang amp for a long time, and then they raise the price, and release a new one that isn't as good as the base model, and make its price unreasonably high. AND they raised the price of the GDec 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I almost hate fender.
Who agrees with me?

I dont know where your buying from but I just checked the price at MF and it's still 939 for a Mustang guitar, and the G Dec 3 is still 199/299. You are probably spamming.

Yeah, and instead of using clubs, they beat the baby seals with kittens! Those S's-O-B's!

We need an AO section of the forum, over 21 club if you will.

You really do have to shop around, especially if your local store is trying to gouge you.
Try Sweetwater they are claiming a price drop on the mustangs
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/search. ... &go=Search

Their prices are currently:
mustang i - 99.99$
mustang ii - 199.99$
mustang iii - 299.99$
mustang iv - 499.99$
mustang v head - 299.99$
mustang mini - 129.99$

These prices seem to match what Musicians Friend is asking for these amps too.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/search/s ... on=mustang

That is about 70$ less than I paid for mine when it first came out!
I say Fender, thanks, and keep up the good work :!:

The mustangs really are great and very inexpensive solid state modeling doodads.

The prices have not changed since the Mustang line came out. The prices Musician's Friend has them listed at is what they have been selling for since they were released.

I know there have been a lot of grumblings about the price of the new Mustang Mini.

Dude, you've got to hunt down some bargains, that's what this here internet is used for. I bought a Mustang II on monday, $199.99 at GC, and found a coupon on their website for $25 off! That's right, I got me a Mustang II for $189.00 (taxes icluded.) Now if I had the brains to get the stupid Ableton registered and running!
