Lately, I've been having fun creating some cool Fender desktop wallpaper for my own enjoyment. The final images came out pretty good so I figured I would share them with everyone. I started off by scanning a few pictures from the Fender Golden Age (1946-1970) book and then I sort of got carried away!

Here is the link to the hi-rez wallpaper images (optimized for 1600 x 900) - enjoy!

Nice case art and some tags and headstocks - - how 'bout some whole guitars?

Well, since I started off with that vintage case pile picture (which is a pretty cool shot IMO) from the Fender Golden Age book I ended up doing a bunch of different variations of it with various backgrounds and overlays. My next batch will definitely include more guitars and amps, also with suitable psychedelic backgrounds!

I used Photoshop and I also used Adobe Lightroom, an awesome photo enhancement program which actually allows to "redevelop" your pictures. You can adjust and enhance every aspect of a photograph or image with amazing results. You can take a photograph that was overexposed and washed out picture and make it look like it was taken with a professional lighting setup. :D
