I was just wondering if this rig would work in a live band setting.

4X12 Cabinet > Electro Harmonix 44 magnum > Mesa v-twin rackmount: Would this be safe and loud enough?

Or

4x12 Cabinet > Fender M80 ss Guitar Head > Mesa v-twin rackmount: will I blow up anything?

I don't have the money right now to buy an actual power amp and conditioner. I'm leaning towards the 44 caliber because of the size and price!

Any thoughts?

P.S. The V-twin rack is way to cool and amazing sounding to just have it sit around and gather dust. I also have a peavey valveking head that I have been using as my main amp. Should I just stick with it?

I play in instrumental band like- Pelican, ISIS, russian circles.
