thanx daniel. i really enjoyed watching that one. i'm a metal guy at heart, always will be. i'd love to be able to play lead 1 million miles an hour but i can't. at the same time, i can't play lead slow and sound close to these guys. i can still play metal rythym with ease but solos just baffle me.
some day my friend.

I'm with you Jeebus, pentatonic scales-got em, using them to play a solo that doesn't sound just like the scale....beyond me.

Thanx for the vid too Danny!

It's refreshing to see that some of the world's finest blues guitarists struggle with this song as much as I do. Even BB himself seems lost most of the time, but manages to bring it back with that single note he does. The Bass player is good though.
To be fair, they all look tired after what has been a long festival and the song was not meant to be a showcase of individual talent.

More than two guitars at a jam is usually at least one too many.

How many times has BB played this song live? He works about 300 shows a year. Do the math. Over just 20 years that is 6,000 times. I would have thought the THRILL was gone from that about 1985.
