Bad to the bone. My friend played it, then showed me how. That is when I started playing in 1983. I bet I played that song 10,000 times.

"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" or as it was called in my Mel Bay Method Book 1, "Sparkling Stella".

The tune of "Love Me Tender" named something else in a Mel Bay book in my high school guitar class along with "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "When The Saints Go Marching Home"

First Rock song riff I learned was "Smoke On The Water" and the first Metal songs I learned all the way through was "Seek and Destroy" and "I Wanna Be Sedated".

Oh yea.... I saved all my lunch money for like 5 months to buy that $35 Teisco Del Ray electric. I kinda wish I still had it.

It's been so long ago I really cant remember. Probably "Honky Tonk". I spent night after night strumming along with the radio. I spent an awful lot of time with the sing along stuff. :)
