A Banjo, Resonator and Tele??? Oh and some blues harps too!

Mighty nice sir!

How long you been playing the banjo?

Dig the pants btw...I'll have to dig up my old jeans and take a snap of those and post. Can you say early 70's Commie-Hippie-freak?

American Standard Tele, of course plays and sounds superb. Dobro, great sound both acoustic and electrified on 2 pups, pretty good to play. 6 string Banjo ( Banjitar or whatever ) not easy to play, it sounds good but I'm gonna have to do some work, it needs finger picken like any Banjo but I think it will be worth the time.
The others :- cool / cool / yeah /

Great looking gear my man. You are the Boss of Blues. Rocking look in your pic. I think jealousy reared its ugly head on some of the comments.

Congrats Rhumba!
Fantastic new instruments. Glad they made it home alright.
Also hope you are happy with having gotten the Tele back from the shop.
...Armed to the teeth you are!

The suspense was great as we awaited the upload man.
The 80´s picture was genius. 8)

We want close-up details on the dobro and banjo!
Cheers, Mike.

Cheers man, how you been doin' ?

I have been doing good my Friend. Still doing some side tech work and done two Tower jobs as a contractor but still no steady employment. Climbing is getting hard at my age and being 6'4" and 260 don't help much!
Glad to see your doing fine.

Hi dharma, I hope things are well with you, yes..errrr mine is a Countryman and it sounds good, i'm just going to file the grooves down slightly in the nut, bring it slightly lower because I am finding this a bit difficult to play and then I can have a good go at this.
Hope to be knockin' some tunes out soon.
Have a good one. 8)

Very cool, Rhumba...

A six string banjo (guitjo? Bantar?) is on "The LIST".

Can you post a sound sample of the resonator? Does it have any kind of pickup in/on the cone/bridge? It looks great...
Since buying my Dean Chrome G, I've been looking at other resos as well, and I'm curious as to the authenticity of the piezo pups in other makes and models.

Hi man, yes it does have a piezo pup in the bridge position and being honest I've heard varying reviews of it. It does the job I want it too and honest again (you're doing well) :D I am certainly no Dobro expert.
