Nothing. Squat. Nada. I'm teed off at my lack of progress. I'm such a beginner it hurts! I know everyone has to start somewhere, just seems like I'm not learning much at all. I'm trying to play Knockin on Heaven's Door - chords. I'll get there, I just wanted to whine I guess. Thanks!

I do however still love my tele!!

Easier than you think, the opening lick is a great one to have in your arsenal, i get alot of mileage outta it

Working to improve my:
Triad Chords
Major Pent. Scale (Position 1 and 5)
Legato
Picked Fingerstlye

only one problem-no good tabs for it on teh wwebz, that i've found. any suggestions?
Its in the key of ey, so just 3rd slide to fourth on the low e fast, g on the second bent, d on secound, double stop, i prolly missed something in there, its easy to transcribe

Still trying to get parts of "Stairway To Heaven" right (please -- don't laugh). Have a little mercy on me. I'm coming off a 3-year layoff, guitar-wise. But although I've got more than 30 years of total playing experience, there are parts of that song that I never quite got right and I'm still trying to figure out what Page was doing.

Arranging variations on an old standard, "Have You Met Miss Jones?". Been listening to several others' take on the music; Tal Farlow, Joe Pass, Chet Baker, Ellis Marsalis, Cal Tjader, Chuck Zeuren, etc. Interesting, finding something new in a song that's been done a hundred times.

I am learning to play with my 17 month old son! I really don't have to learn to play with him, but I don't have time to learn anything on guitar at the moment!

I'm trying to get my head round modes and trying to master the whole album The Wall, I got the tab book years ago and learned all the acoustic parts when I was learning guitar, gave the book to my mate and never seen it again until last week..great! plugging my strat into effects box at night with headphones is great, practicing every night now!!
