What a ridiculously stupid thread,
Almost.... if not as bad as your intro thread some months back

some people have no sense of humor. :)

I actually do have a sense of humor...But that is crass...The Op opened the door by requesting comments and therefore I obliged.
My view is that it isn't funny and Fender deserves better, especially on their own Forum....

well its the eye of the beholder. what i see there is a comparison of the wood . and someone making a joke.

not a comment on fender. lets face it if he thought it was a piece of crap he probably wouldnt own it. but hes having a bit of fun. i dont see the problem.

i run into guys at line 6 that do the same thing and at epiphone. then theres always the ones who take offense like yourself.

hes not voicing an opinion on the guitar in my opinion.

is that nitro or polly? Is the rim profile comfortable for sliding? I cant wait till that seat has a nice relic look to it, it will drastically increase in value

I actually wasn't comparing wood  Although, I can see how you guys can see that the strat was the color of my Toilet lid. I just thought that the natural color would go great with the whole profile and color scheme. As for a guitar, I could have used any of my guitars really for that picture. I thought this was funny and about as punk as you could get.

whatever the reasons I got a chuckle out of it
but lets say you had the guitar stuck down inside the toilet with a big fat steamy mud monkey lying on it.... I would have reacted differently

If he had a fuzzy toilet lid would he have to mod a strat and make it fuzzy, too?

In a guitar shop in Corpus Christi, Tx, I saw a homade guitar on the wall that was made from a toilet seat. It was plastic, but would have looked much better if it was like thejake's.
