Keeping to topic, the fact is Gibson was raided. So in order to have done so, there must be a suspicion in order for the raid to happen at least. We havent heard much about what that was, only we have heard that it happened and Gibsons interpretation of it all. So if there was no suspicion, then no wrong was made- right?

Much like a bust on drugs if there has been a 'tip-off' at a dealers or someone suspected, they will raid because they don't want any cover-ups and evidence they want to find will be there at that given time.

What I am getting at, is that something had to have gone down for all this to happen, right? Even suspicion does not say that they definately violated any law. It also doesn't mean that they didn't. Raids, are part of any investigation process of this nature. What they are looking for will only be found if a raid is conducted. If nothing is found, then Gibson will (should) take it as "Hey- maybe we can do things better to stop this happening again", or "Good news, they found nothing, we have nothing to worry about!!"

So, untill a full case and proper public statements are out- I'll just sit and watch and see what happens. But from what I have seen so far... :?

I certainly believe the Obama Administration directed resources to target conservatives and affiliated organizations. We'll se if Fender receives the same treatment under President Trump. After all, Andrew & Vizhier Mooney, Fender CEO & Wife, are Democrats. California reported a $2700 donation made by them to Hillary Clinton's campaign. Additionally, look through Vizhier's employment history to confirm liberal allegiance.

This is your very first post.
That speaks a lot to me.
You create a profile just to revive an 8 year old thread in order to make a political comment on a guitar forum where political discussions are strongly discouraged.

Flat tire and going backwards is right.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Ha ... I pondered locking this one ages ago. Think I'll go ahead and do so. :D
