She's a beauty Chet, with the P-90s she should sing real sweet.I was wondering what became of your gear buying binge because for a while you seemed to be buying new gear every few days.Do I sense another one of your buying sprees coming on? Congrats on getting such a sweet baby.

Nice looking guitar Chet. I have a JA90 Thinline Tele with SD P90's that I love. I want to ask your opinion on the Gibson necks. I'm looking to buy an LP soon and am leaning towards a 50's neck. I haven't tried the new asymetrical neck yet and am going to wait till I do before deciding. What is it about the 50's neck you didn't like. Does it wear on you after playing a long time?

The '50s neck on the R6 is just huge thickness wise and to me just uncomfortable to play for any amount of time. Gibson has several neck profiles so you have to watch them. There are 2 '50s neck profiles and 2 '60s neck profiles. There is a big difference in them.

Thanks. I was just shaking things up a bit. I sold off some guitars and picked up a couple of different ones. I did the same with some amps.

This guitar wasn't supposed to happen, BUT I ran across a deal on it. I have 1 more that is going to leave the nest, then that's it for a while. WELL, That's all I have planned at the moment.

ANGD? What does ANGD stand for? Sounds cryptic to me!

Air National Guard Deployment?

I'm not much on Gibsons. Rather see a Fender.

That's for sure. The 50's profile's nicknamed the"baseball bat neck". I can't play it for long either. Too thick for me. Doesn't make it a bad neck, it's just not for me. If you have big hands it would probably be great. The 60's neck is slim and fast. You just have to try them for yourself. We're all different.

Gorgeous guitar, my brother! Congratulations!

I love P-90 pickups...rich, fat and sassy. I put a P-90 in the neck position of my Telecaster and a set of Pete Biltoft Vintage Vibe SP-90 pups in my Stratocaster (they're P-90s sized to fit in a Strat).

A Lester similar to yours is on the "LIST"... (and you know which list I mean!).
