+1 Ceri, thank you for sharing!

Hey SBLS, might as well mention this here. You talked about how much you liked watching Doc Martin and I told you unfortunately the series ending in Louisa giving birth was the final one. Wrong wrong wrong: a new season just started here about three weeks ago, so there is more Doc Martin headed your way sooner or later. Stay tuned! :D

Cheers - C

Great news Ceri, thanks!

Who's been a good boy then?

Signed by the man himself too.

The shop where we met the guy needed a repair done fast. Bit of a fret level and a setup. All so the customer didn't know as the previous repair person hadn't done a brilliant job. I picked the guitar up at 7pm after the shop closed. Got it done for 9:30. And got paid with 2 pedals not yet released to the market, a T-shirt and a box of plectrums. Have been offered all the setup work too.

Oh man! They SERIOUSLY want you doing their tech work, don't they?

Trev wouldn't tell us anything about the pedals - I thought they were not for release for months to come. And here they were, hiding in the shop all along!

Very cool looking: please tell us how they sound. From the man who can't stand generic pedals... it's going to be a tough road test. 8)

Cheers - C

I need a decision from somebody first on which one of the two they want before I dare try either.
Gotta say I've had a look round and they are nifty things. Battery access is nearly as easy as putting your hand in your pocket. The things weigh a tonne and are well laid out too.

Ooo - can you show us, please?

I guess that issue is not quite a deal breaker on a pedal, but it sure is annoying how many manufactures get that simple feature wrong.

Yikes, I'm sounding like a guitar magazine!

Cheers - C

Ok here's the underside of the pedal. Note the battery compartment.

Which flips up to this

Easier and quicker than the industry standard Boss design. Not cheap flimsy plastic either. These things are sturdy, made for the kind of stamping that only legendary socks can deliver.

Oh and the best part about these two is...

Sorry for the blurry pictures.
