I need a new strap to go with my new guitar that I am paying off weekly
Here's the guitar...
Image

and the two straps I'm down too...

Sgt. Pepper
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Planet-Wave ... les+strap#
I love the simplicity of the little Sgt. Pepper drum face. Nice and subtle and shows my love for that album.
Ace Frehley
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gibson-Ligh ... 1129846.gc
Shows my passion for KISS and Ace Frehley. Compliments the Les Paul well.

Now on my Strat right now I have a Tommy Thayer guitar strap, signed by the man himself. Getting the Ace Frehley one would add to me KISS collection but it would be nice to have a little Beatles somewhere.
Opnions? Questions? Concerns?
Thanks guys!
BTW, stoked for the upcoming NGD!!! :D  :D

Probably an insinuation that a Gibson-based guitar will be awful. God bless the Fender forum. :D

IMHO, Ace Frehley. The Beatles don't cut it for me.

I hate Gibsons. Overpriced. You sort of pay for the brand. They're the Alienware of guitars. You could scrape together a ton of Fender parts and build your own guitar that could beat the $@!& out of an LP or an SG.

Also, who cares what kind of strap you have? I've tied shoelaces to my guitar before. Works just as well as the plain black nylon one I have somewhere.

I respect your opinion. I just want a little something of everything.

And nobody really cares too much about your strap but I think it adds character to the guitar and personality to it as well.

Whatever floats your boat.

But just think, you put a commercial logo on a strap and you pay twice what it would cost without. But if people want to pay to promote someone else's business, someone that certainly doesn't need the money as much as you do, then go ahead.. :?

Guitar like that needs a classy leather strap.

+1...a nice leather strap would compliment that guitar nicely.

Maybe one like mine?

You can't go wrong with Planet Waves straps,I have The Beatles-Revolver,Beatlemania, and Yellow Submarine and hope some day to have the entire set.The Planet Waves straps are nice and wide and perfect for a heavy guitar like a Les Paul.

Wow...and you have how many years of experience playing to have come to that conclusion? The guy asked a question,he didn't want a bunch of smart $@! remarks from a 15 year old kid.
and also from someone who has probably never owned a Gibson les Paul.
Have you?

Nope. Played many. For the quality of play that I experienced, the guitar wasn't worth the price.

Also, you don't need years of experience to know what you like or don't like.

I'm fricken jealous this kid got a gibson lol.. no offence. I go to muso's every thursday and play $5000 guitars and they are worth more than they are! I get a good tone from a Gretsch through a Marshall JCM2000 DSL
