Some of you may remember me from WAY back around this time last year. Well I just fell off the face of the earth earlier this year. This was due the fact that my lovely wife Emily passed away in her sleep due to a blood clot in her brain in April at the age of 26. I've decided to stop mourning the loss of my beloved and return to my normal life (or as normal as it can be now) so lets whip out the computer and talk some guitar!

Hi, really sorry to hear about your wife. I'm stuck for words to be honest, but thought I should say something. When I was 25 way back in 1997 I sufferd a brain heamorrhage and had a massive stroke. This left me vertuallly blind and with a weakness on my left side of my body. I know this is no consulation to you but I just wanted to say Hi and welcome back. I know you probably been told a million times that time is a great healer, so I won't repeat it. Like I said I just had to say something. Hope you don't mind. I have the upmost respect for you for getting back in touch with us all here. Keep the posts coming, I'm waiting. Good luck

Paul

Condolences, sir.

I can only imagine such a tragedy.

Welcome back, though.

Arjay

thank you all for the words of kindness here I really do appreciate it she was the most wonderful woman I had ever met and those 8 months we were married were the best 8 months of my life, it's hard to move on but you can't live in the past forever. she always talked about how much she loved to look at my guitars when I was at work and her favorite was my grandfathers 1954 Gibson les paul goldtop that he had left to me when he passed away in 2008. This is going to sound criminal to you guys but all she would ever talk about was that guitar so I decided to have her buried with the guitar.

So has anything really changed here since the beginning of this year? I'm only really noticing a bit of a layout change

That's pretty cool that you buried the guitar with her. Now she has something to play while hanging out in heaven.
