Well folks I'm off tomorrow for my yearly checkup with my pain specialist-a nice 5 hour drive.I break the drive down into 2 days and stay at my sister's place who lives about 1/2 way there.Before I injured my back I used to love driving and often looked for an excuse to take long drives.Anyway if anyone thinks that I've been abducted by aliens I'm off to see the Doctor.

Anymore I get someone to drive me, so I can lay the seat back when needed. Also, they make heating pads for cars now. Nice if you start to tighten up. I hope you have a productive visit and a safe trip.

went to my eye dr a few months ago and wore my fender tee. he asked "do you play guitar?"
eye appointments are a little more loose now that there's a common bond. he's a fender guy too.

good luck with the doc mate , i know your pain i used to love long drives as well but not as much now and thank buggery for saab heated seats , a godsend and when my backs killing me and i fancy playing , i usually go for my 89 mij strat or my epi sg400 , both are nice and light , cheers

Didn't get to go for my appointment after all aswhen I woke up my back was in too much pain to handle such a long drive so I had to phone the Doctor's office and cancel.Thanks for all the good wishes anyway and I'll keep them in mind for the next trip.Life can be so ironic-imagine having to cancel seeing a pain specialist because of the pain-Its all part of growing up I suppose.
