I find some of this language quite cryptic and I'm not sure exactly what it means, but it certainly does not sound family-friendly!

To anyone who has had a family member kidnapped by modern-day pirates and held for ransom it isn't cute at all.

My feathers got ruffled here because I fail to see what any of this has to do with Fender instruments, amps or music or even with the price of Bread or even Wombats. I'm also pretty sure pirates did not have generators, so they'd have to play acoustic. There would also be a tone-wood shortage during this period given all the rosewood, ash and alder used to make peg legs, ships, masts, booms, etc on the ships. Not to mention that the metal for the swords, Sabres, cutlasses, cannons, cannonballs and black powder weaponry would have consumed much of the metal output of the day making strings prohibitively expensive! Which brings up the point, where did early lute players buy their strings? Were there traveling lute string salesmen riding around on Ox wagons? Inquiring minds want to know!

Sailing ships were made mostly out of white oak. That is why England had entire forests lain waste, to supply the RN.
