NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (CULTURAL AND LANDMARK CENTER OF AMERICA)
HOTLTANTA! (World of Coke, Olympic Centennial, the Varsity, the Aquarium, Underground)
Chicago (Blues, Wrigley Stadium)
San Diego (If you stay in downtown and travel upp to go the the beach you wont be dissapointed, I recommend the Double Tree, plus theres lots of conventions and its just laid back)
New Orleans (Mardi Gras, PARTYING, BEER, OYSTERS, BLUES)
Yazoo, Mississippi (Never too late to stand at the crossroads)
Las Vegas (UH HELLO!)
Florida, in general, so much to do (SeaWorld, Disney World, Universal Studios, countless beaches.....)

If you love the blues don't go any further than Beale St. in Memphis TN also in Memphis are the best ribs in the world at the Rendezvous.

:) Give Washington, State a shot. From The Pacific Ocean to the Cascade Mountains, to The Desert and Columbia River Gouge in Eastern Washington. You'll not be disappointed. The city of Seattle on majestic Puget Sound is incredibly beautiful. The entertainment seen with theater and music combined with fine dinning is like no other. The locals are friendly and enjoy mingling with the tourist crowd. Come and see. You'll have a wonderful time. :)

While not in the state of Texas, there is the Grand Canyon in Arizona. In New Mexico, Carlsbad Caverns.
