Bought a vintage Fender guitar online from these clowns. (Store should consider changing its name to "Clowntown Guitars"...).
They shipped it to me 16 days (!!!!) after I paid.
When I called and e-mailed the store to ask what's going on with my guitar that I should have received 2 weeks ago (I'm in L.A, they are in Vegas, 2 business days shipping time with ANY carrier..) they said "Oh, yeah we will e-mail you the tracking number later" Of course, no such email was received...
I only received a tracking number when I opened a PayPal "Item not received" claim...
When I finally received the guitar (About 20 days later) which was described as being "100% original" it had an obvious re-fret, fingerboard planed down & nut changed.
Things that any "Reputable Vintage Guitar Dealer" that has been in the business for more than 5 minutes should spot while blindfolded...
I sent the guitar back for a refund, they received it 7 days ago and still haven't sent me my $$ back.
When I e-mailed to ask what's going on with my refund the response I got is that the owner is traveling and my refund will be sent once he's back and able to check out the guitar...
So, I guess non of the other clowns who work at this shop are qualified enough to check out a freakin' 1980 Fender Telecaster?? This ain't a Burst or a New Yorker!!
Maybe the good folks at "Clowntown Guitars" should devote less time to creating fake scenarios on lame (written) "Reality shows" and concentrate more on improving their non existent customer service.

Benzona...sorry you have had such a hard time with Cowtown. I think they have had change of ownership in the past year or so. I actually went there on vacation with my wife a year or so back and I found a particular guitar I had been looking for for quite some time. I couldn't get anyone in the store to help me. I was pretty sure it was the guitar I wanted and I had cash in hand. I finally after a half hour of trying to get someone to help me (I was one of two people in the store, so not like they were busy) they were just not interested in doing anything. I finally just walked up to the guy Jesse (manager) and told him very sarcastically "Thanks for nothing, I hope talking about your tattos (what he was doing with another worker) was more important than your customer you dumbass"! I then walked out. I don't expect anyone in a store to kiss my you know what, but acknowledge me when I ask for some help. I see nothing has changed...fricking slackers.

Last year I attended SEMA and called for directions. They were very helpful, honest, friendly, and I would have had no problem giving them my business if I could have afforded what I wanted.

Also wanted to mention that we just returned from a vacation in Hilton Head and stopped by Gruhn Guitars in Nashville. They are about to move to a larger location a couple miles away.
