Hey, I recently stumbled upon this killer store's website that has many classic fenders for sale and other branded guitars. The store is based out of Las Vegas and the owner had even been on that show pawn stars. So I being a fan of the show and wanted one that they had for sale.I ended up buying one.On the day of sale they said they would include a tracking number. So I felt relaxed and collective until now becasue it's been 2 days and I still have yet to get that tracking number.I call, and they never pick up.Anyone else deal with this outfit.Do they not give a crap about the people who they do business here.I know at other stores even guitar center they at least make an honest attempt to build rapport and I know they do not make bank like this store. So any thoughts please share.I did open a paypal dispute so I hope at least I have those canivers attention

Well associating with the pawn stars guys should have been your first clue.

You may be right.I know how to price things and I know what things go for.The sale was not a bad deal. But hell someone could have seen them starting to pack it and offered more and sold it to them and they wanted me to do it this way.Thats why at least I asked if I could pay with paypal.I'm sorry though, when I sell something to someone I couldn't sleep at night until I made sure the buyer was satisfied. But I again also have had 15 years expirience working in the customer service field.

Even here in Central WI I've heard of this store. One of my guitar playing coworkers was in Vegas last winter and bought a used Epi Jumbo acoustic from that store. They offered to ship it home for him and when it arrived there was damage...by the time all was settled he ended up with a new guitar of the same model. They worked with him really well.

Hopefully you'll get your deal all straightened out.

When I bought my Montara off of Ebay the guy shipped it via USPS, which stinks because the item always arrives before you even have a tracking number. Of course the USPS is not universally known for great cust service.

I've dealt with Cowtown, and have never had a problem. But, I personally know it's owner Mark Chatfield. Mark is originally from the Columbus, OH area. Columbus' nickname was 'Cowtown', and Mark took that name for his store.

Mark plays guitar in Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band and Seger may be still on tour, although I know he has other people working in the store.

Wha? You never heard of me . No, really years ago when I started playing at the age of 22yrs, I read in Guitar Player magazine that if want to meet musicians, than you have to be where musicians hang out, music stores & clubs.

Also my minor in school was psychology, and the prof had us read Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz http://www.amazon.com/Psycho-Cybernetics-New-More-Living-Life/dp/0671700758, this book literally changed my life.

So what does this have to do with music? After reading the book, I made goals for my musical life. Maltz also stressed that placing yourself in position to meet people who could help you was also important, and that's what I did.

I'm not a particularly technical player, but I play from the heart, and that what impresses my musical heroes when I get and play with them.

Yeah, 'Primetime' is actually really no more. We had 1500 copies of first CD printed 'Prime Cut Blues', and sold them all. I only have one copy left. I need to restore our TuneCore status http://www.tunecore.com for Amazon & iTunes.

Our bass player Ed White is in stage 4 brain cancer, and last year my wife of 20yrs left me (you love your music more than me). Plus my dear sweet mother passed away and I moved back to Dayton, OH to settle the estate.

We had started recording our second CD 'The Cold Backhand of Love' too. I wrote all the songs, I'm going to have my son play re-record his bass parts.

But, I have new girlfriend (she just had complete knee replacement), and I'm getting ready to start a new band.

Hey all, well there was a resolution. He gave me a refund.Jesus, aparently he did not want to even sell it to me.I bought an 1983 fender strat in black which I guess is considered pretty rare now.As, I've tried to buy off others but they would not part with.I want to still call better business on there asses. How can you have a single customer if you promise something hold on to it give the other person the runaround and then do this.F'em I'm boycotting them and it's too really to damn bad. Thanks for the help I am a psychology graduate too and we surely don't have all the answers haha.Take care all!

Change the store's name to "Bull Plop", truth in advertising. If there's a silver lining to this it's you weren't robbed, just lied to.

Thanks for the heads-up,
John.E
