Yes, ben and jerry's a fine example just after eating ice cream haha.Well, I think Fender in all respect is the first guitar company to do this cool idea. As above, I'm in the retail world and selling an expirence definietly has better results than the product even in some cases. That's why I wish this well as it would benefit both the customer and the company.More importantly it's Fender, a company that deserves it's place in the heirchy of the music world. All sarcasm aside, yeah let's make this a local idea as local as a pub or random pizza parlor. But I was told the website has a new video I am going to check that out now.

End of that discussion.Fender did a decent job of explaining all but the cost. However, I did hear that they will ship it from the factory.Which is good cause even if I walk away with one on the spot Id want to ship it back anyway.

My thinking was that, given all the necessary information, some altruistic kindhearted soul out there might handling the ordering for people on the Forum once paid in advance.

Is that the same link under the Telecaster 60 piece, or is an addition found somewhere else?

you haven't been on the vc site??? the direct link is www.fender.com/visitorcenter . Well if only they would let you order your guitar online via guitar builder for example, but again I understand the experience idea. They want people to visit corona.Besides, I'm excited to see california myself. So tenatively, I'm thinking before april of going down there. As the above poster mentioned I will be flying american airlines so I would fly into lax.I did not see any other option except ontario which is even further away from lax aparently. So heck ya it be great to know where to go and hotels near corona.Im thinking now because the tour is so early and limited id spend a thursday and leave sunday there.

The video on that link is a bit more abbreviated than some of what is available on YouTube. I missed the opening by about two weeks. I had to lay over in Calabasas CA as a result of the east coast storm and returned to NYC on the 31st of August. I figured I was about an hour away from Corona on a good day. However, with their traffic as I have come to know it, when is a good day? :?

The guitar prices are the million dollar question!!! Nobody knows anything yet, in a month of it's opening. But my guess at this point guitars will be 2 to 3x the price of retail. So they have been mum to still have people go there!! I am still going by march and I will gladly let people know what I find. Thanks to those who have shared the pictures though!

Well, I do not disagree with you.Although, like most retail items are sold cheaper in retail due to the fact the items are needing to be sold.I have years in retail to know this is fact. That is probobly why too the custom shop prices are 2 to 3x more than retail.I imagine too this is such because the number #1 guitar maker in the world offers this and yet no buyers yet..I rest my case!

Hi guys,
Nothing "official" has been released yet, but I can give you a "ballpark" approximate number:
I think I can safely tell you that these should be in the $1500 range.
Hope that helps a bit.
All the best,
rob

Had the opportunity to tour the Visitor center while filming part of a documentary in the factory. Great place to inhale deeply some Fender air and history.

I was very impressed with the amount of hand work still done at the factory, American guitars built in America by very talented folks.
