That is a tough break for the above poster.I also had played a 57 original strat recently. It was at the guitar center in chicago.Yes, I had the manager watching me closely but it felt great. It was a sunburst and that finish was half there and the neck was like rough sandpaper but did it chime. But yes, It was definitely not priced to own. As for other tours.I visited the gibson plant in memhis in 2009.I'm not a huge gibson fan there accoustics are the worst ever but electrics have always been so so.But it was educational but my excitement level for fenders opening is comparable to a 13 yo old girl beatle fan back in the day.

I'm in Green Bay, I wouldn't mind road tripping to SoCal...being an ex big rigger I wouldn't really need directions to get there either...maybe we can do a midwest crew road trip...wow this is one of the cool things since I've moved here from NYC - cuz it's a closer drive than from the East Coast ;)

Well, as long as the Federal Fish and Game Division doesn't come and take away all the rosewood and ebony (ala Gibson), it should be a fantastic tour!

Kudos to Fender, and I expect to be there withinin 6 months! :)

Great, if I make it to California again (I am from Germany), I'll try my best to breath in the "Fender Air" in Corona. Tour & shop I'm lovin' it already.......

Even just the thought of it. :D

Thanks for giving the "Fender Fans" the opportunity.

No, you won't.
Because you're 13 and a liar (as shown in this post of yours, where you claim to own Buddy Holly's guitar.... Sheeesh!)

Definitely having delusions of grandeur. Wouldn't be the first time in these pages that someone of that age showed their colors. It takes more than a village...........

Wow.... think of all those lucky people that will there on that day, getting to listen to you cranking up your Squire with your Wah pedal, through those cool amps, after Mom drives you down... and all the people who will be fighting over who gets to 'jam' with you!

I've already informed my wife this is where I want to take our next vacation. She's on board because usually I don't want to vacation anywhere...
