Thanks for the post. Ronnie is a great guy, but he does not get a lot of credit.

Ronnie opening for Carlos. Carlos sonic vision of Heaven and H3LL. The B3 of the church in the hands of a H3LL of a player and angelic sounds from the devils favorite instrument.

He's a great player. My friend Jim Mouradian plays bass with him. I've seen them a few times. The last was in a studio setting where they were performing and shooting a video for a DVD release. I'm not sure if they ever released it.

It was Ronnie Earl that showed me how to play 'San-Oh-Zay' during a break in his show at Gilly's back in the '80s. I told him that I met Freddie King, and also that I was big Magic Sam fan, like Earl.

Earl told me about how Duke Robillard would show him guitar 'things' in between his sets at 'Room Full of Blues' shows. It was Duke that recommended Earl for RFOB when he went solo.

I had already met Duke when he played a Gilly's, there were only about 10 people there and Duke sat and talked to me all night. I still have his album that he autographed for me.

Love this guy's playing. 8)

Seen him a couple of times since he does a lot of "local to Boston" shows.
I bought a couple of his DVDs, one a very small venue Concert, less than 50 people I think!! The other an instructional video.

Will be seeing him in the Fall.
