Only got to play with him once, a great player, great guy. Now Jimi's got most of his Band of Gypsys back.

You just can't stop talking about yourself, can you? I'm not impressed. How about a little bit of respect for the man who just died? Have you no class at all?

A good man I shared a stage with once has sadly passed on. Deal with it.

Jeez evh, I hope when Billy Cox eulogizes Buddy starting with, "I was proud to share a stage with..." you don't come screaming down the aisle yelling WHY IS IT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU, BILLY!??

"Security!"

Man, this cat could not only lay down a huge driving beat, but could deliver great vocals. "Cigarettes and Coffee" was one of the most powerful, gut searing deliveries I ever heard.

He toured right up until the end. He was out here in Santa Cruz not long ago. If you ever got to hear the Electric Flag live, it was something else. Buddy was one of a kind, they don't make em like that anymore.

Electric Flag's " Every Now and Then" had some beautiful, very soulful
singing from Buddy and Mike Bloomfield's very moving, expressive guitar playing ..... that's MUSIC !!

Yeah I mean, Bloomfield was never better than in that band. His dimed Twins were the perfect lead sound on top of that Wall of Sound. And nobody ever sounded like Bloomfield. He was totally unique. Nobody can copy him, unlike SRV and Jimi, nobody can replicate Bloomfield's blizzard of frantic notes that seemed to explode out of his hands. Two broken molds.
