...or who hates who the most?

Keef said some pretty nasty things about Mick in his book.

Now Mick is saying :

Ha!

Yes, they seem to have a "love - hate" relationship where they "love" to "hate" each other!

Been that way for years though...I'm sure if they get a Producer for the 50th Anniversary Tour that shows them lots of $$$$, Sir Mick and Keef will make up and play nice again!

Keef's book was excellent and outside of a couple of jabs at Mick, it wasn't that bad, imo. Even Keef says that with all the turmoil he still loves Mick and no one can sing a song better than him!

They sure are a pair of whiners when it comes to each other. Get over it your collaboration was the reason for your success....the way Keith plays it, the way Mick sings it, that's your secret to success.

I read Keith's book and thought it was entertaining, and his digs at Mick were usually followed by a comment on how no one else sings like him.

I love the Stones, their attitude, their tunes, their history, and would still like to see them live if I could scrape up the extra $$$. But any anniversary or award or honor should include ALL of the band, including Bill Wyman.

Those two guys have been slapping each other around sense I can remember. They are a lot like The Three Stooges, only its (Mick & Keef). Their like two Brothers. Like The Man said If The $$$ is There, so will be the "STONES". 8) I can almost Here them now. I'm the best- No -I'm the best. Truth is there the best together. 8) 8) Get them on stage, and I'll buy a ticket anytime. 8) Now I'm getting out of control. Picture this,a little role reversal, Keef prancing around stage, like a little Pixie and Mick banging away on a Tele.

I think a lot of it stems from the fact the Mick became Sir Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger and Keith Richards became 'Keef'. :? :?: :?

KEEF RULES!

I suppose if they do get together for a tour they won´t be playing ¨waiting on a friend¨, one of my favorite tunes.

+1!

Regardless, it was undoubtedly Mick's expertise in business and finance learned at the London School Of Economics that made Keith a multi-millionaire. Without Jagger, he'd now be hawking Time-Life boxed-set CDs compilations like that has-been from the Partridge Family or selling cheap guitars and guitar lessons by mail like Roy Clark. The Jagger/Richards relationship is symbiosis personified but the fact is, Keith owes Mick a lot.

After reading that story I noticed that Mick didn't actually say he didn't want Kieth to play the Marquee he said "Kieth can't make it" which I think the paper has turned into more than it is. Let's face it... there is no Rolling Stones without both of them and they know it...as their ex-manager Loog Oldham used to say "good press or bad press it's all the same as long as they spell the name right!".

As much as I love The Rolling Stones and credit them for being a major influence on me wanting to be a musician.. Jumped the shark a long time ago.

after everything those idiots (pardon the pun) have been through, it's like Robert Mitchum saying about Steve McQueen " I don't know what Steve drives these days, he says he drives mustangs, I wonder if he really does?", Keef will be there.

I don't know, Mike....I suppose the rules of the game are that no matter where one's standing in life, even on a plateau which many aspired to climb to no avail, one still reserves the right to pitch a $@!&* about something, Jagger and company included.

Agreed my friend and I, for one, would have never even thought about
these guys still being out there doing the rock n roll thing after 50 years.

Never thought Keith would even live this long either! What is he, 82 or something?
