What a beautiful gesture from The Fender Custom Shop:
http://fendercustomshop.com/
Those are great guitars and deserved to be kept by those who were there.
And to be played before by EC..
I hope they will never be sold and belong forever to The New York Fire Department, The New York Police Department and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Hats off to those involved.

I saw these announced on Fender's FB page and after reading some of the comments, was totally angered.

The people in the WTC buildings, the cops, the firefighters, the EMS, and the bystanders didn't deserve what happened to them - nor did they start the wars we are now in. The events that came after 11 September 2001 can be argued later and on their own merits, but leave these people and their family and friends be.

I applaud Fender's tribute Strats and their execution. The composition is superb and a great tribute to very selfless people who ran into Hell as others were running out.

I'd buy one just to hang on my wall and because it would have meaning to me.

It's still September 11th here on the west coast.

Just wanted to say god bless all the families and friends of the people who lost their lives on that terrible day.

We will never forget.

i reckon its a great idea-even if you just hang them up on the wall, great way to remember the victims

most of the comments on remembering 9/11 statuses have been rather offensive. it angers me to see what the majority of my generation is coming to-ignorant, self centered, mis-understanding morons with a attention span of a three toed sloth. its really sad

I work in NYC. People a clueless, those responders are some of the bravest people who ever lived. They were selfless heros, plain and simple. The guitars are awesome.

Awesome items. Those emergency personnel are still paying now for their bravery on that day.
