I've been toying with the idea of taking the cables going to and from an effect pedal and combining them into a single stereo jack as to save on materials and clutter (and also because I'm trying to design a pedal board patch bay). I also don't see a reason why I can't take this further and modify/simply effect pedals this way, not also for mono input/output, but also for pedals like chorus (to name one) that have two mono outputs for a stereo signal.

Does anyone see a technical flaw in this? Does this seem like something that's pretty easily do-able?
