OK you Luthiers. What is the most efficient sound hole for an acoustic guitar? Some have round/center, some have F holes some have several smaller holes and Fender has the Logo Fender-f in some. Not to mention a Dobro. Something I've always wondered about.

I expect the answers to that question will be largely subjective. Selmer had some interesting ideas about sound holes but not everyone agreed with his opinions. The are boutique guitars available today with some truly out of the ordinary sound holes, each claiming superiority.
