A very sad day. The biggest disaster in pro hockey history and one of the greatest losses of life ever in sports.

Very sad day. Demitra is from Slovakia like me, and he did great things for our Slovak national team.

I was watching the coverage on the BBC World News. When something like this happens the whole world goes into shock and mourning. Most of these guys were in their prime only to have their lives cut short by what's so far an unknown cause. My heart goes out to those that they left behind.
