Gang: met with our IT crew this afternoon to discuss the issue with post response notifications and we are moving forward with a reasonable solution to it. Making good progress and will keep you updated.

As an aside, I'm disappointed to state that one well respected member of these forums chose to contact our Customer Service department a bit earlier today with a number of ... er ... "energetic" ... remarks on this topic. Kind of a recurring theme here since day one of these forums but I'd once again like to politely ask that folks not bother our Customer Service department with such topics, as you're simply delaying their ability to help folks out with real, actual customer service needs.

Meanwhile, I do have to apologize to all for insufficient communication on this topic across the board as I know it's been negatively affecting user experience substantially here; past few weeks have been INCREDIBLY intense (and truthfully for reasons that have nothing to do with this issue - it's a season of heavy site and product launches for us right now).

Update: we are moving this into initial testing later this afternoon, but not for Fender just yet. One of the luxuries I have here is that we can test things out on one of our far less active forums (Jackson or Gretsch) before rolling them out here.

Update: now applying code edits to one of our frontend servers in the cluster so some members will start seeing this functionality return. We'll monitor that server throughout the morning and if all appears well will apply the edit across the entire cluster.
