I purchased a bass and amp from guitar center and this is my attempt to playing a bass track. This is just a rough jam track.

How did I do? I have no clue on how to properly play bass.

Pretty sweet! That CV has a nice "Glover-ish" growl to it.

RAWK ON!

Thanks! I tried out a couple of MIM J bass and P bass and I liked the sound of this CV jazz bass the best. The setup was right on....very surprised

Thanks man!! From your sig, I assume you are a bass player. What tips and what improvement do I need to do from what you have heard on my video?

I'm still a relative noob, so don't have much to suggest. All the usual: practice, warm up your hands, practice, make sure you're *E-X-A-C-T-L-Y* IN TIME, practice, work on tone, practice. Check out Brother Dave's Resource page: http://brotherdave.com/resources.htm Practice ... Check out the bass forums here, too.

Welcome to the low end!
