The "I call the shots" mentality is toxic when it comes to forming a band. You guys may have fun at first, but people are going to get tired of being told how to play their instrument. I will never play in a band where one person dictates everything that's going to be done.



That's what I was thinking. I could be misinterpreting the post, but it sounds to me like there's a little bit of ego involved in the "I call the shots" way of thinking. A band will NEVER work if all of the members don't have equal input.
