I am not sure if anyone remembers the many threads i posted but for a long while i was really laboring over what amp to buy. The world of amps was, and still is, a scary confusing world to me. Finally i narrowed it down to a few choices and made my decision. Then i found it on musicians friend for the best price. Remember a few weeks ago i posted a "how to get the best deal at musiciansfriend" thread? A night supervisor Chris from MF wrote me and offered to help me, which was incredible. We wrote back and forth a few times and he really helped me with a great 20% discount and great insight. I was going to wait until closer to when i get home in March to order but he told me that my amp was discontinued (it is an Limited Edition one). so i wired money home and placed the order before they were gone. The thought of me missing out on the amp decision that i had labored over was not going to happen.

So ladies and gentlemen i yesterday the order was placed, tuesday (9/6) my newest family member begins it's journey to my house. I present to you my new Fender Limited Edition ’65 Deluxe Reverb 22W 1x12 Tube Guitar Amp
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ ... -combo-amp

I look forward to giving you a review when i get home. My fender Jag Special HH and Duesenberg Starplayer are going to really scream through that beauty. I really can't wait, and i really can't thank Chris from MF enough. that kind of customer service is a lost art in this day and age, he made a loyal customer really happy.

Congratulation on the new amp. I sure it will give you plenty of earful pleasures in the future.

yeah i am really excited. i have never had a tube amp or any quality amp. It was a really big purchase for me. When i get home i will have it professionally biased. I was laboring over this one or the surf green Sonic 22 but ultimately decided on this one. either one is WAY above the entry level ibanez amp i have been using.

Very nice amp! That thing should last you a good long time, and even longer if you baby it.
Now...I have never been one that cared too much or really even thought much about an amps appearance, but that thing is beautiful! Enjoy it!
