Here's an update and this is all that I've been able to find out.Scott left his home the usual time Wed. morning and there was no hint that there was anything wrong.When he didn't show up when he usually does Luanne(his wife)knew that there was something wrong.The police are baffled as he simply vanished without a trace.Friends have organized search parties to try and trace his known routes to work etc. as he had gone to work at another music store not too far from his home.His site has had well over 1000 supporters write i their prayers etc.To Blinkers and anyone else who wants to write in their support you have to go on FB and type in: Find Scott Kelly and that will take you to the page.Thanks to all of you who have shown support as his family needs it.

The music store business in trouble?

A family man sometimes disappears when there is impending personal disaster around the corner. Often a disaster he can't protect his family from..

According to Scott's brother,Scott and his wife did an fact have a heated argument before he left the house.He had been having bouts of depression on and off recently and used to let off steam by strolling through a large park near his home.Police have sent in both ground searchers and helicopters to try and locate him and airports and the Marine terminals have been notified.I had heard that his business was in a bit of a slump and you could see that he didn't have a large inventory on hand as other music stores did. Whether or not he lost the business I don't know but he had gone to work with a former competitor which he must've found hard after being his own boss for 17 years.

Anyway his site continues to grow rapidly as the seriousness of the matter becomes known.

A very close female relative had just such a breakdown. She turned up in Edinburgh 2 days later. Just jumped on the first train she could find and travelled 500 miles.

Got home safe after 2 nights of worry for all concerned. Afterwards, she couldn't even begin to explain why she'd done such a thing.

Hope for a similar outcome guitslinger

People who simply disappear do so for a pretty short list of reasons: random violent crime (sadly, its usually women who suffer this fate), consequences of getting themselves into a lot of trouble... But the most common is just cracking up. Here's hoping he's only gone a bit mad and is OK somewhere.
