New Jackson website and forums: http://www.jacksonguitars.com/

Gang: while we don't typically do a heck of a lot of brand cross-pollination here I did want to quickly call attention to our new Jackson website (just launched last night) and new Jackson forums. I know some of you Fenderites have the inherent need to shred in your blood occasionally as well -- many of us do, and this well and good -- so I hope for those interested you'll hop over to the new site and start making it part of your regular rounds. As with any new forums, we're in that early delicate stage of trying to build some momentum, so would greatly appreciate any and all help from shredders and metal mavens hanging out here!

I was at the Jackson site. Very cool. I love Jackson guitars almost as much as I love Fenders.

A dumb question from a guy that doesn't shred, what makes a guitar a good shredding guitar?

A lot of guys seem to like really thin necks set up with very low action.
