It's a nice amp -- monstrously loud/clean, with plenty of punch and on-stage presence.

But it's just so freakin' heavy......!

Bulky and awkward to load and transport as well. Think of a Dual Showman speaker enclosure weighing close to 130 lbs.

(the Quad Reverb was similarly affected to a somewhat lesser extent)

Good Lord, Tony......is that a Super Six Reverb?

Wow, you have a good eye, yep that was my Super Six Reverb behind me. There's an original LPB-1 (like the one on this site, scroll down) http://www.roundthedialmagazine.com/2009/12/guitar-town-my-favorite-fuzzies/, with a Fox Fuzztone, Small Stone Phase Shifter and Cry-Baby Wah plugged in it. I have another pic that shows the setup not scanned.

It was years later that I realized that the Super Six, was actually a Twin Reverb with six speakers. It had tons of clean headroom, but I needed OD for the songs we were doing than. I lived in a second floor apt, and we rehearsed in a basement, it was back breaker for sure.

I later sold it to this guy for $300 more than I paid for it, and I think that's when I brought that Westbury 1000 http://www.univox.org/amps/uniamp.html.
