MIM standards are great guitars just as Squier standard strats are as well. That's something the tone snobs need to step up and realize. I do own a MIA 2006 60th Anniversary Commemorative Model, but I did have a MIM Standard which I gave away to my buddy last year. To this day, I miss that guitar but my Squier Standard has taken it's place and has done a admirable job filling in.
