Hi dharma47: my Marshall Triple Super Lead covers all the crunch, drive and reverb options I need, so no pedals needed there.

The only pedal that I really require in my chain is a delay - which I don't see on your list. Following that, a touch of compression can be nice for my early Knopfler sounds; but not essential.

Less is more, far as I'm concerned.

Cheers - C

A little bit of reverb, with a little overdrive equals tonal heaven for me. Between the two though, I would have to say overdrive. It makes more of a difference to the sound I think. To be honest, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to effects. I don't even own any effects pedals!!

I really need to branch out a bit....

Put me down for less is more! That´s why we have Fenders. I wonder what´s the deal with guitars that don´t sound great plugged straight in? I see too many of those out there! Let´s do the Robert Cray thing all day! ...The only thing I could spend serious time tweaking is a fine reverb module.

Wah, Fuzz, Reverb. Sometimes I'm trying to experiment with Delay, and many other effects.

More and more, I like the "less is more" approach also, so a touch of reverb will do. Delay should rank up there with reverb.
