He was pretty much the last truthful link to Robert Johnson. He talked to me at length about himself and Johnson after I photographed him at the Pocono Blues Festival. He was pretty sure Robert was poisoned by a jealous husband. He thought it was in a bottle of whiskey. It really made sense. I actually saw him twice. The second time he actually remembered me an wanted to know if I was going to take more. LOL He was truly amazing.
