+10...what a waste of time. Are we down to talking about these wastes?...if so, maybe we all need a break from the forum...just a thought.

All these acts, I have stopped complaining about. The other makes YOU possible. Cheap heavy metal-age guitars that sound like dirt make my strat sing!

I think Lady Ga Ga has more talent than Britney. Plays an instrument(and is pretty good), writes her own songs.

Did anyone see the Amy Winehouse tribute footage? They showed a duet she did with Tony Bennett. She was the real star of the night.

Katy Perry won Video of the Year with "Fireworks". Godawful song.

I watched some of the VMA's basically to see Selena Gomez.

I totally agree with you guy.
Lady Ga Ga has more talent than Britney.

Pizza? ......is that all you crusty old Clapton fans have to contribute?

I am a 48 yo guitar player with little interest in the music produced by these two women, so as a disinterested bystander these are my impressions.

B.S.- A cute little brat who was lucky enough to find fame and fortune at an early age thanks to Mickey Mouse. If she has ever written a song, she probably had to hum it to someone.

L.G.- (Stephanie ____?) Seems like a nice normal girl. A pianist, composer and club muso who has paid her dues doing small gigs. She seem to have made a conscious decision to become famous on her own terms, creating this persona as a vehicle for her songs.
It seems to have paid off.

That is all I have to say on the matter..........Clapton is God.

A good slice of New York style pizza with pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms and Italian sausage is the perfect lunchtime snack.

But to be honest, as much as I like pizza, I prefer a good chicken parmigiana with a side of spaghetti, and a large glass of unsweetened iced tea.

Okay Armadillo,enough is enough!!.......
I thought you were from Texas, and being a Tennessean,we have always felt a kinship with Texans....but UN'sweetened Iced tea!??
Them's just plain UnSouthern words, every true Southerner is supposed to drink SWEET tea,and that means sugar was added while it was still hot,and melted into the mix...not poured in from a little packet of sugar on the table, that doesn't work.
I hope you will reconsider this...I like you and I'm just plain worried about your well being.

I drink enough tea everyday to float a small pontoon. I like sweet tea, but if I were to drink it with the normal Southern amount of sugar, I would be a diabetic within three weeks. I drink it unsweetened for two other reasons: I want to maintain my girlish figure  and I happen to like the taste of pure, unadulterated Lipton...

Alright! Talking TEA beats the Lady Gaga subject.
Put me down for un-sweetened as well! Piping hot, or ice cold! Never lukewarm! The expensive brands are alright, but I go by Lipton. Now, if we´re doing the old India thing, then half a teaspoon of sugar and a dab of milk I can take! Happy scales and arpeggios everyone!
