"gr8" is not a misspelled word. "Graet" is a misspelled word. The difference is one person tried and failed. The other person did not even try.

I've noticed too and although there are nonsense threads (ie: post mindless blather here.) nonsense has been bleeding into other threads for some time BMW-KTM. Trying to communicate effectively and being clear by using a seeming shortcut or mis-spelled words as a way to express or complete an idea or thought has been given up in favor of off handed remarks, lack of effort and me me egoism. Not responding may be counterproductive as it might reflect a "don't care" attitude. So, we'll have to keep trying.

Only teasing chief, ive ridden motorcycles for years so i know what a KTM is lol (is lol allowed). Just trying to lighten things a bit what we need here is a sarcasm or ironic emoticon.
In my Jerry Donahue post recently thouston posted a pic and when i replied, to my slight embarrassment i wasnt sure if his first name was Tony so i just wrote m8.
Doesnt mean im illiterate though!

got to admit though couldn't get my head round some of the FYI's IMO's etc when I first went online, getting the hang of it now

Since I'm gettin' a bit old - my kids can text faster than I can talk.
(I mean - have you seen some of those kids fingers flyin' on those phones they carry??)
Anyway - I don't "text", and I don't use a cell phone - yet. (darn things time out before I can figger out how to make it work!!!!)

Most cellphones have some sort of AutoCorrect feature on them so you don't have any excuse for simplifying your texts anymore. I use this when I text, I only text when I don't want to have an conversasion, for instance if I whant to text "home" I text 4-6-6-3 and my phone choses the most likely result, though that fails sometimes. In fact AutoCorrect on Iphone fails so often that there is an whole website dedicaded to it.
