Seams like some folks are taking all this a little to seriously. Come on gang were all friends here, and as friends we sometimes say things to get each others goat. 99.9% of this sh@#$ is meant in fun. We all seam to agree on one thing. (THE COUNTRY IS IN A MESS). The only thing any of us can do to change things is to STUDY THE ISSUES AND THE CANDIDATES AND (VOTE). 8) :)

My life quote fits well here....

Its ok to have these discussions thats how things get changed as long as it stays civil. Theres also nothing wrong with showing alittle passion for your beliefs as long as it don,t resort to name calling.

Be honest, aware, unafraid, true to yourself and your values.

And grant others the freedom to do likewise.

I'm in a couple of spanish forums where there's forbidden to talk about politics or religion. But here in Spain the Civil War is still a pain in the... and people doesn't know how to talk about it in a civilized way.

I don't know how is it in USA, but it seems (just watching TV or reading american press) that's almost the same. Two options and (sometimes) hate the opposite.

It's too sad that in 21th Century people can't discusse about these topics with respect to other's way of thinking.

My experience with many of the people who argue these matters is that many of them don't even vote. That gets my goat.

This is the economic growth model that began in the 1800´s. It would seem like it is expiring. Gross domestic product, the equation between jobs and pensions, the ficticious value of currencies. Pretty soon only a good Strat will hold its value.

I've been away: have there been heated tempers again? Oh dear.

Don't tell me - MIA v. MIM? Or was it worse, the blue v. red thing...?

Uh-hu...

Cheers - C

Most forums won't allow politics or religion unless that's their intended purpose. The Martin guitar forum is one. I'm glad too. It always seems to get too hot and heavy here. I agree, I hate the name calling not just in the political discussions but in gear too. I have no problems with someone not agreeing on something, but the name calling and personal attacks need to stop. The foe list works well but I hate even having a foe. I only have one on it.
